The illusion of transparency can be created through the careful use of technique, color and value.  In this workshop, we will explore how the French masters achieved transparency, how to merge different layers of imagery, and how this can apply to contemporary tapestry.  Intermediate level students need a working knowledge of basic tapestry techniques.
